The writing is small and too man ywrods on a page for a younger child. Yet the illustrations are for the younger child. We bought this for my friend's grand daughter trying to teach her about lying. She really enjoyed the book. My 6 year old son totally loves this book. One person found this helpful.

Still a favorite in the family til this day. However, disappointed that there was One page that was stuck to the other. Carefully separated but part of paper remained on the wrong page. No way to fix. Expected this book to be for a toddler because of the padded book cover and cute picture on front. Actually was too wordy, definitely not for a toddler. The Step into Reading, Step 2 was far more appropriate.
