Amos is an American poet and author. He is awarded as a haiku poet, recognized for his unique, American interpretations of the Japanese Haiku art form. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Amos graduated from Bexley High School and Wittenberg University where he carried local and national accolades and awards in sport football, track and field , music orchestral and for his poetry compositions.

He currently completed his first book, "The Sound of the Web: Amos presently lives in Diano Marina, Italy with his family.

I thought perhaps it was about the delicacy of a spider web-- like silk riders and then I discover it was a serious of mostly Haiku and the web was the inner net! For me learning to write on twitter in a few characters was absolutely essential for my own novel-- but Amos got there way before me.

Every new technology has it's pit fall but it also has it's glories -- The Sound of the Web is the most elegant use of the new technology of the internet I've ever seen or heard of -- It is like a wiff of Jasmin on a too hot day-- of a few notes of Miles Davies Sketches of Spain as you walk by a Pizza Polar in Manhattan -- thank you so much for your brilliance of writing during so much of the mundane. In this book, and in Amos White's media empire, there seem to be more words about the poems than there are in the poems themselves.

He speaks quickly; he organizes; he motivates; he inspires; his energy is boundless and his thoughts thunder forth through dazzling white teeth to explain the world, layered with more meaning than most can see, and he leaves heads spinning and hearts thumping wherever he goes. Or, "what is the shortest poem possible?

But the focus of this galloping mind is, oddly, a moment of stillness for each of his poems. He creates spaces of silence in which words can hang alone, or just a few together, drawing the attention away from a world cluttered by words, standing dignified for a moment, like spinning atoms made from nothing, just a charge or two.
