A few things in the last few chapters I disagreed with, but overall a good book. One person found this helpful. Whether you are single or not and content or not, God will show you something in your heart that you need to change from reading this book, and doing so will bring you JOY! Wilson's book is exactly the sort of book that all young ladies need to read. It is straightforward, practical, and overflowing with good advice.
Wilson is not afraid of being direct and honest. She does an excellent job of being both challenging and encouraging. While her book is written for unmarried women, it is full of general bits of godliness that would be useful to any woman. I would highly recommend this to any young woman.
Great book providing valuable tools and motivations on how to enjoy life while waiting for God's plan for your life. I was looking for a book to give advice and biblical wisdom on being content where I am right now as God has a plan for my life and that plan includes my current singleness. Nancy Wilson writes words of wisdom to unmarried women, but any woman, in any season of life, will benefit from reading this book. All of these apply, though perhaps in different ways, to unmarried and married women. Even though I am married, when I finished this book, I wanted to turn back to the beginning and start again!
Every young lady should read this book. See all 12 reviews. Most recent customer reviews.
